🎣 Canon Ef 24 1.4 Review
1. I got EOS R right before Christmas and on January 1st finally had a chance to do a shoot in my home studio. I have only EF glass, so the shoot was done with adapter and 70-200 IS II. My observations comparing to 5DMKIII: 1. Adapter is very solid on camera, it feels like extension of the body.

All in all, the 24/1.4 always gives punchy, contrasty images at every aperture. This is the advantage of aspherical optics: you don't lose contrast from spherical aberration at f/1.4. The build quality of the EF 24mm f/1.4 USM L II is simply superb and the new weather sealing is reassuring when shooting in very harsh conditions. The AF is very fast and near silent. All-in-all it's a very good lens if you're aware of its potential and limitations. Optical Quality:
